If you thought Heelys - the kid's shoes with wheels in the heels - were dangerous, get a load of this. It's a mini electric bumper car and, once seated inside it, your offspring will be able to enjoy up to 40 minutes of driving time at speeds of up to 2mph. That's good news for the kids, not such good news for the ankles of any adults who happen to be in the vicinity at the time. Of course, the purpose of bumper cars is to bump, so Maplin are currently selling two of these for £79.99 (you could buy just one for £59.99, but what would be the fun in that?) and they come in red and blue. And I'm sorry to disappoint, but they're only suitable for ages 2 - 6, I'm afraid.
