Advent has not quite begun but you'd be forgiven for getting in on this pre-Christmas event early, as the more that people search now, the more money goes to charity later. World Vision, a Christian humanitarian charity, is the beneficiary for LetThemKnowItsChristmas.com, a photo gallery and search engine that generates donations.
You can set the homepage on your browser and customise it to your preferences by looking through Flickr slideshows containing photographs from all over the world either using a keyword search or by exploring a specific Flickr account. Then search away and the unobtrusive advertising helps generate income for World Vision. The total donation will be collated and donated on December 25th.
