You know, with every entry I post today I think that the next one should be about some "serious" technology. And then something like this comes along and there's just no question that I must write about it. Hello Kitty has finally been consigned to the toilet where she belongs.

Sanrio has expanded its ever-growing baffling array of Hello Kitty products with an automatic TP dispenser. It's programmable if you know exactly how much you want to use without wastage, and it's all pink and sickeningly cutesome. And expensive - $220! Even with the laughable exchange rate that's over £100. One for obsessive collectors only.
