Cambridge Audio TT50 retro turntable

Turntable-lid-off.jpgStill can't quite give up on records? I know the feeling. I still have some of mine; somehow cassettes never quite did it though CDs were charming in their day. Anyway, if you're still in need of a turntable - if only to convert the lot to MP3 - then Cambridge Audio is coming to your rescue.

In fact, it's telling us that this will "set any record collection free" (and not Dead Poets' Society-style freedom either). The arm is designed with non-contact magnetic anti-skate technology, and the acrylic platter is coated with elastomer paint to grip the sub platter for excellent timing and great bass. All of which adds up to a lovely addition to your audio system. Be prepared to pay for the privilege, though; this one weighs in at £350, available this month.
