Everyone get excited, there's a new UMPC on the market, and this one promises to be cheaper and more portable than most. It's retailing at £219, and was launched 2 days ago. It aims to provide the user with an entirely new mobile experience. It's styled so as not to frighten your tech phobic granny, with the standard computer design and keyboard, but is ultra portable, and light enough for the whippersnappers to carry with them. It has a 7 inch display with Intel CPU & Chipset, and works so efficiently because it uses a Linux operating system, which takes up less disk space. Never fear though, it is Windows XP compatible and has an inbuilt WLan connection for Internet on the go.
It weighs in at 0.92kg and uses a 4 cell battery, so it lasts an impressive 3.5 hours. There is an inbuilt microphone and webcam for recording, and it uses hi-def audio stereo speakers to give you great sound. It's available in Pearl White and Galaxy black, but I have a sneaking suspicion you'll soon see it in more pastel hues.
It offers two modes of intuitive user interface, so it accommodates all levels of expertise and is ee-asy (you knew that was coming), and has over 40 inbuilt applications. The solid-state disc design gives the Eee PC a shockproof advantage over traditional notebooks and gives you more peace of mind.

I wonder if the price of the Eee PC 4G drops near the £150 mark once the MSI Wind and Eee PC 901 (Atom Powered) notebooks are released into the market.
I have promised myself an Eee PC 4G if ASUS drop the price further so iI have at least, enough change from the £200 to get a bag of my favourite bubble gum flavoured, fizzy sour, pink & blue jelly bottles.
So anyway, are ASUS generous enough to let us have em 4G's for 150-quid?
the Eee PC 4G price is only £179 in toys r us. thats where i got mine from and i would recomend the laptop to everyone as it fits in myn handbag and goes everywhere with me.....you never know when you might need it!!!
