I for one am very excited that Philip Pullman's fabulous His Dark Materials has now been turned into a cinematic production, as I can't wait to see Lyra meet the bears, fly with the witches, or travel to the great Aurora Borealis. This clock brings a little of that magic into your own home, with its unusual design and penchant for changing colour on the hour. It makes a lovely bedside alarm clock, and also works well for mood lighting. Now I just have to countdown the days to the Golden Compass film release.
