Time for a Monday rumour, methinks. How about an Xbox rumour? We haven’t had one of those in a while. The latest ‘sources’ are claiming that there’s a new Xbox on its way with a built-in HD-DVD drive. But there’s more. It’s a collaboration with Toshiba, and will feature dual HDTV tuners, an Electronic Programme Guide for digital television and a Zune dock. Of course, that last one is only useful if they ever launch the Zune in the UK. Ho hum.
I know I risk sounding like a broken record at this point, but really. Microsoft. You're *giving* Apple the European MP3 market. On a plate. With a spoon. We Europeans love our wireless connectivity - we get our knickers in a twist when the iPhone doesn't come with 3G, let alone HSDPA. We'd love your whole wireless sharing of music thing. We'd appreciate it. We'd love you for it. Give it to us.
