Being the ahead of the curve, bleeding edge, state-of-the-art kind of girls we are here at Shiny Shiny, we've already seen the Walkman A815, which featured a 2-inch screen, thirty-three hours audio and eight hours video playback and synchronisation via Windows Media Player. The S510 is the small, MP3 only player, and the A810 is the video playing one, with the general consensus being thank god they got rid of Sonic Stage. So, what to tell you about this launch?
Well, the launch event was last night, and boasted the obligatory Geldoff girls, Brett Anderson, Gareth Pugh, Wayne Hemmingway, the Arctic Monkeys and Alexa Chung, amongst others. There was also Shiny Towers favourite bit of goth-lite, Noel Fielding. I'll be honest - a little bit of wee came out when I walked past him.
You can order the Walkmans here, and they'll be available in 2GB for the S510 and up to 8GB for the A810.
