Just as the old skool Sky+ boxes enjoyed a touch of the haute couture paint a few years ago, Sky HD boxes are in line for a similar Extreme Makeover. No one could accuse them of being the kind of technology that's likely to fade into the background, but if bold statements are your kind of thing this might be the HD input for you.
Gareth Pugh, Jonathan Saunders, Giles Deacon, Preene and Basso & Brooke have all been tempted away from their clothing lines to splash some colour on the boxes, with the results varying from WTF to ooh, yes. You can get your hands on one of these limited designs for £199 to £299, plus the cost of your subscription plus potentially the cost of installation. Yeah, we never said it was going to be cheap.

Ok they look pretty cool in the picture as do similar custom Xbox 360 consoles, but I think in any nice contemporary living room they are going to stick out like a huge white head on the end of your nose lol
