The non-extraordinary U600 has been given a berry makeover and is now available exclusively to Orange, in it's new purple guise. And as we've told you before when we wrote about the other purple paint jobs this autumn, it is the colour de jour. In fact, we've seen the Samsung F210 and the Sony Ericsson K770 get the same treatment this season - clearly somebody was doing a cheap deal on purple paint.
The U600 is only 10.9mm thick, and features a 3.2 megapixel camera, an MP3 player and an expandable memory. It'll be available on Orange free on contracts over £20 and for £129 on PAYG.

I got one of these (in black not purple) the good = its very thin, the bad = the stupid touch sensitive buttons

It is a realy sexy little phone... But the software is crappy!
bluetooth crashes constantly, and when you use the radio somthing else crashes on the phone so you cant get any calls in or dial out :(

This phone is amazing.I have hada pink one since July and have got used to the touch sensitive buttons and think they are a fab feature and really easy to use.Although i have added a memory card the memory on the phone was already very good.I luv all the extra features on this phone such as the radio and image editor.This phone has not broke once since i bought it and is very reliable.I really don't know what i would do without it and would advise anyone thinking of buying it to get it quick!!!!
omg doesnt this phone look beautiful? at first i was stuck between k770i and the w580i. this phone has them both linked together. my qualities needed in a phone was - slide, good camera, flash and a good music player , 3G and a sony ericson. this phone has everything apart from 3G and that it isnt sony ericsson. hopefully by the time i get it the price gets cheaper. i guess i just need to learn how to put music onto samsung phone. the only thing i hate is the fact its touch screen. I H8 TOUCH SCREENS. but u have to suffer a little to have a good phone. just go to wait a couple of months :(
