Last night, the great and the good of the mobile phone world were gathered in a secret underworld bunker Old Billingsgate Market, to crown the winner of the Phone of the Year. Out of a shortlist including the Sony Ericsson, W880i and the Nokia N95, it was the Samsung G600 which scooped the prize. It's the season of 5 megapixel camera phones, but it was the slim design and simple interface that won it for them.
The LG Prada phone won fashion phone of the year, T-Mobile won network of the year, thanks to their web'n'walk data tariff, and the iPhone won... nothing. Hasn't been released yet, peeps, but expect it to dominate next years awards.

Is the picture supposed to be of the G600 or did the U600 win phone of the year?! Either way I got confused and it seems as though Susi doesn't know her G from her U. ;)
