The Samson G-Track USB microphone is a full on condenser microphone - the first of its kind to be a simple USB accessory. It has a built-in audio interface and mixer to record vocals and instruments using one unit; it works with the supplied Cakewalk Sonar LE software or as a great complement to Apple's GarageBand, which has recently received a revamp.
It's easy to use too; just hook up your noise-maker to the unit and the USB mic plugs into your PC or Mac. Play away and voila! Music is made. Just don't expect it to get you a £1million recording deal. It's available now for £129.
