The R1 Dream is a little cube of luxury living that will be sold through Selfridges, Harrods, The Conran Shop, Paul Smith and Peter Jones for £179.99. The pressed steel and wood composite box with a white lacquer finish houses a DAB/FM radio and ports to connect the player to any iPod or MP3 player. This slice of great-sounding British engineering is finished off on the outside with a black liquid crystal display. Vita Audio tells us it's been "described as the best sounding DAB/FM compact radio around" - part of me isn't sure if that refers to the sound quality or the description of it...
