Good news for US-based Shiny readers - the new Sidekick LX and Sidekick Slide are making their way to your neighbourhood soon. The LX (above) bears a high-resolution Sharp LCD screen and both models come with the usual messaging features, 1.3 megapixel cameras, Bluetooth, music player, web browser and so on. And there are brand new, more muted colours as you can see; I wonder if they'll appeal so much to Jenna Jameson and Paris?
The LX also has a flash for the camera and will be available for current T-Mobile subscribers on 17th October. It's $299 for new users to sign up on 24th October - prepare to devote two years to it though. Equally, the Sidekick Slide will be on a two year contract from 7th November for $199.
