For a Micro System, this Goodmans offering looks somewhat monolithic, with a teeny iPod balanced above it, trying not to just sink without a trace inside. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo.

The MICRO14651 is a CD/MP3/WMA player with a 32 track programmmable CD function if you're still approaching the digital age with trepidation. There are also USB and SD card slots so however you store your musical media you should be able to play it with ease. The iPod dock is of course also a charger which will top up the battery even while the 'pod is playing. £99.99.

  • It's a very unattractive device although from the price the usb and SD card slots are good additions for the money.

New on this forum, not sure where to put this, you guys seem up on your tech companies: Radical Spark (www.radicalspark.com) is claiming to have this new web app, very cool app, I hear people talking about it at conferences and such, speculating. I talked with a developer at the Ruby East conf. who said he was working on something *really* cool and I'm very curious as to what this is... Any idea what these folks are up to? Thanks much.
