Goodmans thought of everything with the GTVL19W17HVFW... except a better name. It's a glossy, white HD-ready 19" LCD TV and DVD combi and it makes quite the design statement once you get your head around the fact that it's a model number not a particularly peculiar village in northern Wales.
The HDMI interface offers excellent picture quality when combined with an HD box or upscaling DVD player with HDMI support, and makes the most of games console graphics. There's also a Freeview tuner for grabbing all the free channels you can get, Nicam stereo sound, twin tuners and seven day EPG. It's available from Next online now for £325.
