Garmin nüvi 700 series sat navs heading this way

garmin-nuvi-760-289-75.jpgThe Garmin nüvi 700 series becomes available to UK and selected other European consumers this month. The key word Garmin is using to describe them is elegant; slim, compact design is the order of the day with subtly integrated antennae. Features include traffic alerts with a free lifetime subscription to traffic services, Cyclops technology-driven safety camera alerts (mobile and static), 200 preset destinations in a single route and 10,000 point track-logs that allow you to minutely trace back your route and view it on Google Earth later.

The variations between the different models are largely down to region and whether or not the device has Bluetooth. The 710 is the cheapest at £279.99 but has only UK and Ireland regional mapping plus Bluetooth. The 750 covers your local region without Bluetooth - for some reason the 750 is not available in the Uk, so here you'll need to shell out £369.99 for the identical-except-Bluetoothed-up 760. Finally the 770 adds coverage of the US to this package for a total of £449.99.
