There's nothing like a walking talking smart-ass to annoy the heck out of you. How much better then, when they're pinioned to your desk and you can't escape their unexciting dictionary definitions and thesaurus like depths. Brian not only is named like a geek, he has true geek credentials, being the owner of the Concise Britannica encyclopaedia and history time line, and can access this via voice recognition technology. I suppose this is one way to encourage kids to learn, as Brian can also store numbers, tell jokes and tailor himself to each kids preferences (which is ideal if you're the type of child who needs to have a robot friend rather than a real one). Brian is multi talented, and though his geek trivia knows no bounds, he can switch off the smart alerts and become an MP3 player and clock when he's resting.
