For widest area coverage the Zoom H2 uses an XY configuration with four internal mics to capture sound in the middle and to both sides. Two phantom powered XLR-1/4" inputs connect your mics, guitars, and any other instruments you want to attach to create your unique sound. The Zoom H2 can be used as a four-track recording into 24-bit/96KHz .wav or MP3 direct to 16MB-2GB SD card. Will 190 minutes of recording time do ya? It's not, by any means, an attractive recorder, but we're talking sound over substance.
