Zero emission Epoq Neighbor electric car makes your short-distance driving green

epoq-neighbor.jpgIf you want the comfort and convenience of a "real" car for local pootling and shopping but don't want to unnecessarily spew emissions into your environment there are now more electric options than ever. One of these is the Epoq Neighbor or Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV). It can go roughly 62 miles between charges, has a sunroof, radio, CD player and other usual car features, but the emissions are a flat out zero. Expect to splash out $9,500 (£4,750) including a year's warranty.

I can hear the chorus snorting "or just learn to ride a bike" but for someone of relatively limited mobility who relies on driving (like some arthritic relatives of mine) it's an eco-friendly solution to getting around the local area. And you can call it Neville... geddit?
