Well girls, it seems we're finally winning! A recent survey has shown that more women than men own games consoles, flipping the old stereotype entirely on it's head. 44% of females, compared to 39% of males in the Denizens of Digitivity survey were found to own a games console.
It seems pretty fair to say that the Nintendo Wii and the introduction of less all-male geared games on all consoles have changed the landscape of gaming, seemingly for the better judging by this vote of confidence from these ladies. Or maybe it's disappointingly all down to DDR.

I wonder if this has been corrected for what proportion of men to women there are in the universe (or wherever this survey was done).
