Well, it was inevitable. Having once been the shark of the search engine pond before that damned sprat Google turned out to be a bottle-nosed dolphin, Yahoo has spent much of its time trying to catch up with its gargantuan rival. So it's no surprise that rumours of a Yahoo phone in development have hit the blog world in a big way.
How likely is it? Well, on the one hand, Yahoo is opening a research centre with ex-Motorola boffins, but on the other they've denied that this has anything to do with developing a Yahoo phone. What is more there hasn't been a whisper of a rumour about Yahoo before now unlike the cloud of Google Phone rumours that have been settling around the company for months now. What do you think?
