Videos now available with eBay ads

I do love eBay, in fact I could even be called an eBay addict as I relentlessly bid on items, collect stars and shout abuse at buyers who don't respond quickly enough to polite emails. In fact I'm such an avid eBayer that I recently sold a 3 seater sofa for a mere £1 as no one else bid on it and I felt it would be rude to withdraw the auction. The difficulty with selling large items is that you can't really see them very well, other than a few 'choice' photos that display them to their best and hide any coke stains/burnt patches.

The creation of video enabled eBay ads then seems like a logical next step and with all good ideas, one wonders why no one else thought of it first.

It's the brainchild of Adrian Sevitz, the architect behind eBays new look. “Video is going to make a big difference to eBay sellers,” says Sevitz, “The big video sharing sites are trying to be everything to everyone. We're not. We're completely focused on helping eBay sellers sell better.”

It works using Vzaar a site where you can upload videos of your item from your camera, mobile or video camera and then sign into vzaar with your eBay details, and will make selling bulky items a lot easier.
