USB pedometer from - who else? - Brando!

USBPedometer2_640.jpg I clearly haven't had enough coffee yet today, because when I first heard about this, I was very confused. "A USB pedometer?" I thought. "Won't it be really inconvenient, trying to exercise while attached to a computer?" Of course, that's not quite how it works (and by "not quite" I mean "not at all"). Rather than using USB to power up the pedometer, this uses it to transfer the data held on it to your computer: a much better idea, for what use is a pedometer, of course, if you can't endlessly analyse its data, produce Excel graphs of your results, and obsess over them? Or maybe that's just me?

The pedometer tracks steps taken and calories burned, and has an exercise log and alarm. What happens when you press the big orange button marked "PRESS", though, that's what I want to know? This is $17 and will be available from November.
