It's difficult to get overly excited about digital photo frames, since there's not a huge amount of difference from one to the next. Toshiba however, are hoping to wow you with both their design and their connectivity in the DPF7XSE. It features a black glass frame, with an aluminium outer frame. There's also a 7" digital TFT screen, for super-bright images.
As well as JPEGs, there's DivX and MPEG4 playback, so you can watch videos. Unusually, it also handles sound, in the form of MP3 or WMA files. You can transfer practically anything, since it's got an SD slot, a MMC slot, a MS slot, a CF slot and two USB ports. And if that weren't enough, there's 256MB of internal memory. Cor blimey (still can't get that excited...).
It's due in Autumn, but no word on pricing yet.
