Thrustmaster may be wading into deep water with its new "unique designs for boys and girls". Assuming that boys want camo look stuff and girls are all about denim and pink can be dangerous, but I suppose nothing's stopping you from flaunting convention and buying boys kits for girls (you rebel, you).
To that end Thrustmaster has produced the T-Pack DS Lite "Only for Boys" carry case for £23 in parachute-style khaki fabric along with various straps, clips and a behind-the-neck stereo headset. The bag is big, with room for another console or camera, and you can play without removing the DS Lite from the bag. The girls' collection is the T-Jean Bag (£10) and T-Pack 2 (£15) in denim and pink to follow up the former purple and green range. The bags are described as "sassy" and the T-Pack includes decals, dustproof protectors and spare styluses. Okay, I admit it, I think this whole concept is daft. But what do you think? Has Thrustmaster got it on the money or is it time to go back to the youth drawing board?
