First, I made the purchase in August and I had to wait a month to get the unit. I figure it was something I had to put up with for a high quality unit with high demand.
This unit is constructed poorly. The first one had a problem with the screen. It had multi-colored lines running vertically covering a quarter of the screen just left of the center. Made the unit totally unusable. I waited two weeks for a replacement. The new unit had the screw to the access compartment for the WWAN card totally stripped. I couldn't transfer the card to my replacement laptop.
I am thinking I need to return this unit and get a new one from someone else. With all of these problems, I am sure that it will take a year to get a usable unit.
Agree with you. Ordered one for myself and three work colleagues. One seems to be ok, one was dead on arrival, and the other rocks - in a wobbly-table kind of way. Not very impressed.
stupid hens.
