Runaway alarm clock runs away and hides when it's time to get up

runaway-alarm.jpg

It must be great fun being an alarm clock designer, dreaming up ever more sadistic ways to rouse us from our slumbers and then irritate us beyond belief. Of all of the clocks I've seen, though, I reckon the Runaway Alarm takes some beating - or rather, it doesn't take any beating because the damn thing runs away and hides itself once you've hit the snooze button, forcing you to get out of bed and hunt it down to get it to shut up. The little rubber wheels will allow it to drop down from your nightstand and travel over wooden or carpeted floors to find itself a suitable hidey-hole. Your challenge, then, is to find it and shut it up, without giving in to the temptation to beat it to a pulp when you succeed. Wave goodbye to that "hit snooze... hit snooze again... hit snooze again" cycle, and wave goodbye to $49.95 to buy yourself one of these.
