Nowadays you can get all types of USB devices from Sushi memory keys, to USB hand warmers; so I guess creating one out of wood was going back to basics in a sense. Apparently the 'original' design of sticking a memory stick inside a bit of wood provides a 'striking juxtaposition of these classic wooden creations stuck alongside the postmodern lines of our cutting-edge laptops'. It comes in 1GB or 2GB, but don't use it near any open flames.
