It's T minus 17 hours as I write this, and the iPod rumours are flowing thick and fast. The latest comes from a source who has spoken to VNU, and has spilled some details that would have me dumping my 3 month old video iPod and hightailing it to the nearest Apple store - should they in fact be true...
The source says that the new version will feature digital radio. This would be a massive plus for me, as I find that I miss out on new music because I'm always listening to what's on my iPod. A choice of radio stations would make this problem obsolete. One issue would be with the aerial though - will it be built into the headphones like so many of the personal radios around today? Does that mean you have to use crappy white headphones?

There's also a rumour that the digital radio will allow for a 'buy-it-now' function which will allow you to buy the track you're currently listening to from iTunes. There's no details about how this track will get to your iPod - through WiFi presumably.
As I said, if these are true I may be moved to tears. Seriously.
