The U-Mate Mangekyo Kaleidoscope Projector takes the best of your favourite 70s toys (kaleidoscopes and glitter balls, of course) and lets you create a colourful, patterned ambience in your space, maaaan. Some of the patterns do give away its Japanese provenance; cherry blossoms, leaves, flowers, snowflakes and more can be combined to rotate and evolve across the room. Discs and translucent beads are provided so that you can customise the patterns yourself too.
Released on September 30th, and is available for pre-order for $149 (around £75).
