While we're not yet with the technology to make Star Wars style lightsabers that are essentially a sharp beam of light, we can do the Futurama-type police batons that are basically a lit-up billyclub. LaserSaber lets you make an expensive flashlight out of a laser in a Star Wars-style (not associated with Lucasfilm blah blah blah) base. You purchase a laser separately and install it in the LaserSaber, and then when you turn on your laser, it does indeed remarkably resemble a lightsaber. But it still won't cut anyone's hand off. $96.
