iriver B20: "Ultimate Portable Entertainment Companion"

Staff Writer Tech

iriver%20b20.JPGiriver‘s new PMPs, the B20 series, are sleek little DAB/MP3 players with 2.4″ colour TFT LCD screens (bigger than the new iPod nano, slightly smaller than the iPod Classic, if you were wondering). They’ll come in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities, and support multi-format music and video playback, DAB and FM radio, photo storage and Flashlite game support. There’s a built in SD card slot and formats supported include JPG, MP3, WMA, OGG, MPEG-4 and WMV. The colour screen will support planned roll-outs of radio EPG schedules and colour slideshows too.

It’s a lightweight, robust PMP and if you’re not interested in Apple’s new range or the Creative Zen, then this is another elegant option. The prices are £149, £169 and £209 and you can pick up a unit from mid-September.
