Not content with the partnership with Apple which will result in one-click downloads of whatever's playing, Starbucks has decided to do its bit for the UK obesity "epidemic" by using their in-store WiFi as an ordering system. What if you've wandered into a 'bucks, got your first coffee but are now knee-deep in blog posts, unwilling to surrender your seat (and laptop), in need of another caffeine injection and studiously ignoring the damp tourists who are glaring at you for taking up enough space for three? Well, you can order over Starbucks WiFi and have the busy bar staff wait on you hand and foot by bringing your latte over to you. Just remember to order it skinny because you sure as hell won't be moving much.
