We told you all about the Archos Generation 5 range back in June but since then not all the range has been available in the UK.
No longer! The high capacity 705 WiFi, colourful, mini 105 pictured and Archos TV + will be available in early October 2007. The pocket-sized 405 and feature-packed 605 are available now. What does that mean for the PMP consumer? Well, Archos does offer a lot of appealing features, such as recording directly from the TV which has been simplified for Gen 5. The 605 WiFi and 705 WiFi boast 4.3" and 7" screens respectively, with high screen res which makes for squint-free full page web surfing. Archos also unusually supports Adobe Flash animations and video streaming and the Archos Content Portal means accessing content direct from your PMP without provider restrictions.
