Sennheiser has revamped its CX 300 line, with five new designs and pretty colours. They'll go on sale mid-October priced £55 - £80 ($110 - $160) and aim to reduce background noise with their snug in-ear fit.
The CX/L 400 and CX 500 Classic earphones are updated versions of the still-available CX 300 and the CX 55 and CX 95 are brand new designs. All come with three different sets of silicone adapters to ensure a comfortable, close fit and newly developed cables designed to reduce handling noise. High energy efficiency means less of a drain on your player's battery (older iPod users take note). Classic range:
CX 400 - £54.99 with short cable, extension cable, pouch
CXL 400 - £59.99 with above + integrated lanyard
Colours: high gloss black, high gloss white, high gloss silver, Bordeaux red, aqua
CX 500 - £69.99 with wider frequency response and better fitting adapters + pouch, cable clip, cord winder and in-line volume control.
Colours: glossy black, glossy white, titanium
Street range:
CX 55 - £49.99, optimised for bass performance + reflective blue casing, angled arm for cable routing, adapters, pouch.
Style range:
CX 95 - £79.99, high end construction for neutral, balanced sound + short cord, extension cable, hard-shell case and adapters.
