If you use Skype for instant messaging rather than calling you'll appreciate how annoying it is that double clicking a contact starts a Skype call, rather than an IM conversation. Well, yesterday I found the solution, and now I'm here to share it with you.
Go to your main Skype page. Hit options. See that bit at the top? That option that says "When I double click on a contact start a...". Change it from call to chat.
Not ground breaking I grant you, but it might just make working at a computer all day a little bit less annoying. And if that's not enough Skypery for you, check out this website, which will provide you with codes for some awesome animated emoticons, including mooning, rocking out and a drunk.
