The MicroVee from Velodyne may look teeny and twee but it pumps out 1200 watts of power meaning a hell of a lot of sound from a very compact case. It's 22cm round the edges and uses a specially designed amplifier with three drivers, the combination of which enables the production of a lot of bass in a very small space.
The MicroVee's cabinet is ribbed aluminium in a choice of black or white and this teeny subwoofer will be on the UK market from September. Dig deep, though, as it's £575.
