Sony Ericsson K770i slim chocolate Cyber-shot cameraphone

Sony Ericsson's newest Cyber-shot, the K770i, is just 14.5mm thin and packs a 3.2 megapixel camera, continuing the tradition of excellent, reliable camera phones but adding a touch more sleek style than has been exhibited before. It's also "Truffle Brown", so Sony Ericsson definitely appear to be pushing the Cyber-shot into the fashion phone market.

Pictures are printable up to A4 size and of course you can shoot video, with a photo light to help when using the camera indoors. There's a 1.9" screen / viewfinder and some built in photo editing software for tweaking dodgy snaps. You can post direct to what Sony Ericsson are calling your "blogsite", which is an online gallery space with a URL you can share.

To complement the 16MB memory, a 256MB micro memory card is included in the box - that's space for 200 shots at "best" quality - and there's a media player and FM radio built in and the now-standard Bluetooth support. The battery should support ten hours ordinary talk time or up to 400 hours on standby.

The first K770i phones will hit selected markets this autumn. I have to admit I was expecting a five megapixel camera by this point, but look forward to getting a closer look at this as I am a bit of a Cyber-shot fan.
