We'll be heading off to IFA soon and one of the many things we hope to be bringing you some video footage of is this bright new media player from Samsung. This is a dinky little number that still fits in a 2" colour screen and 30 hours of battery life (four hours if you're watching video) and support Bluetooth 2.0 wireless streaming.

Samsung has opted for 2GB, 4GB and 8GB models, so one might infer it's aiming squarely for the iPod nano market. In a whirl of marketing-speak, the colours have been labelled Midnight Black, Mystic Purple, Maple Red, Lime Yellow and White Cloud. I feel like I've just rehashed a cocktail menu in a fairly odd bar.

If I was heading to that fairly odd cocktail bar this Friday afternoon (and I'm not saying I am) I'd definitely plump for the White Cloud. Nothing so innocent sounding could ever cause a hangover.
