Following on from the fuchsia hues of the W5700, the Hi-Grade Notino D2200P is known as the "Pinkpad" for good reason. Opting for a rosier, pale hue, this focusses on being a light, compact, portable device. It's packing a 12" widescreen with WXGA resolution and is has an Intel Core 2 Duo chipset at its heart. For the higher-priced "02" option, you can expect a 2.0 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a 160GB hard disc, alongside a dual-format DVD rewriter, multiple memory card reader and built in wireless. Microsoft Windows Vista is naturally the OS of choice and Hi-Grade have made the sensible choice of pre-installing the wonderful OpenOffice for you. The Pinkpad weighs in at just under 2kg, so can be said to be ultraportable, and for those of a less pink persuasion there's the option of a pearl white chassis. £699 (or £549 for 1.8 GHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB hard drive). A closer look picture of the inside is after the jump.
