Designers apparently can't keep their hands off the simple toaster, but are always trying to bring a new look to a device that heats bread. The latest entry: the Radical Six Part Toaster by Matt Gossington. Radical in this case does not mean "a synonym for awesome or super", or "a deviation from the norm" but rather "relating to the radius." The central unit rotates and toasts the bread then each compartment can be removed and opened while still keeping the toast warm. So you can give everyone at the table their own hotplate of toast and thats about it really. It's still a concept, so no pricing yet. [Camille]
