Could it be? Are the days of being slave to the soap aisle at the supermarket finally over? (As someone with heavy chemical allergies, I dearly hope so -- plus I'm tightfisted and would rather save my pennies than spend them on soap!) The Haier WasH2O is a front-loading washer (which is more energy-efficient than top-loaders) which uses OH- and H+ molecules to first attract dirt, then sterilize the clothes, theoretically leaving them pristine without a single additive beyond water. (Though if I put my really old jeans in there, will it simply dissolve them?) € 699. [GT]
