I never thought I'd be so envious of our American counterparts until the arrival of the iPhone, and if you share that opinion, it's about to get worse. Crazily enough, a 99 cent store in Westchester, LA got it's hands on 9 4GB iPhones which they sold for, you guessed it, 99 cents. Honestly!
The phones went on sale on Thursday the 9th of August. They expected over 300 -400 people in line by 7.30am that day. No details about the real number that showed up but I'll bet it was nearer the 1000 mark. The lucky devils, I bet our pound shops won't be flogging deals like that when the iPhone hits our shores.
