Casio is working on producing the world's fastest-shooting digital camera, and they're showing off the results right here at IFA. The prototype 6 megapixel, 12 x optical zoom cam has a CMOS sensor and high-speed processing chip which works together with image stabilisation to achieve not only high-speed still snapping but also video so fast the human eye can't see it.
The camera's so clever it starts taking shots before you do if you enable Pre-shot Burst Mode, and the video is an impressive 300fps with ultra-slow motion replay. With Susi reporting on the future of Philips' design strategy for women, it's good to get yet another insight into the future at this conference.
