The Thai police force are going to be using bright pink Hello Kitty armbands as a punishment for policemen who misbehave. I'm not entirely clear on what it is you have to do that isn't so bad that you get fired, but is bad enough for you to have to sport The Cat on your arm. I'm also not sure that the unfortunates hold *quite* as much authority with the crims - would you be afraid of a man with Hello Kitty bulging from his bicep?
