It's going to happen on Tuesday, at Apple's headquarter in Cupertino, California. No, not the birth of the next messiah, but something only slightly less exciting - an Apple product announcement. You know the drill by now - hear rumour of new iPod. Assume as fact. Get bitten *again* when they launch a new Mac. Repeat ad nauseum. Here's what people are speculating about so far:
1. A brand new iMac
Touting a superslim, brushed aluminium keyboard, which Engadget has photos of, as well as some updated specs.
Odds: Good. If Engadget believe it, I believe it (I am that easily led)
2. A new verion of iLife
Think Secret predict a new iLife to deal with all your media, including iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, iWeb, Garageband and iTunes. However, this could be held off until the Leopard OS launch in October
Odds: Fair. But do we care?
3. The iPod Touch
Tech Digest are getting us all in a lather about a new iPod - the iPod Touch. It's supposed to be a small flash-based 'pod similar to the Nano but with a larger screen. It'll arrive in a shade of hues, and they've even dug up some pricing to make it that much more authentic.
Odds: Slim. We've been here before.
