This isn't the first of it's kind but it might just be the best device so far designed to help you find your keys. And when a gadget does something useful and, for a change, necessary, I'm always interested.
The Sound Activated Keyfinder is a fantastic little keyring that will respond to a clap or whistle. An alarm will then sound along with a blinking LED so you can immediately find the bunch and get to work on time (for once). A bloody brilliant idea, and one step closer to my dad's joke about "ring my keys for me, eh?" coming true. It's just £5.95 too.

I had something like this a few years ago. It drove me absolutely insane, so much so that I took the battery out after 24 hours. It responded to absolutely everything - a dog barking, a car door slamming outside, the phone ringing. I can only hope that this particular one isn't so sensitive.
