Mary Robinette Kowal wanted her laptop to resemble "a blending of an early Royal, a Remington and a Ox-blood red Smith-Corona" so she got her heavy duty stickers and felt pens out and got to work. In a move reminiscent of the knitted iPhone and the regular artistry of Crafty Crafty contributors, she created this pretty cool vintage beauty. She's currently sourcing a wood veneer for an ebony-effect spacebar to complete the look.
