If you've decided to fulfil that home cinema dream and are shopping around for an easy to use, good quality projector, you could definitely do worse than the SIM2 C3X-E. No, it's not a Star Wars robot, it's a small, lightweight, compact home projector that's fully compliant with HD 24fps footage. There's a dimmable 250W lamp to boot (yeah, I'm not sure it's that eco-friendly either, but it really doesn't claim to be).
There's also Live Colour Management to balance the picture, and a choice of long or short-throw HD lenses. All sounds great, right? Only one teensy issue, then: it retails at £12,999.
